it takes a village

it takes a village 〰️

this is a counterforce to hate, division & disinformation.

—and it needs your help

When we imagined this space, we knew one thing for sure: helping people unlearn harmful systems—and reconnect to their power—can’t be done by one organization alone.

The forces working against humanity—disinformation, apathy, systemic violence—don’t operate in isolation. They collaborate. They reinforce one another. They’re everywhere, using every platform, every tactic, every tool.

If we believe in justice, humanity, and care, then our response has to be just as strategic.

Equal in power. Opposite in purpose.

cultivating a culture of care Takes a Village

We often say that changing the world is a group project — but the truth is right now a lot of us are conditioned to approach it like a solo assignment, which, in the long term, is actually hurting us individually and collectively.

That is why the Social Good Collective was always designed to need the brilliance, skills, and unique approaches of a variety of everyday people coming together to do the work. We can’t keep going at this in silos.

We don’t need everyone doing everything. We just need everyone doing their part. The virtual community center gives us the space to be in community with each other, away from the chaos and noise of social media.

When we coordinate instead of compete, we share the load—and the reach. Doing this together means we amplify each other’s work, expand our audiences, and move more people into meaningful action. It’s how we build momentum without burning out, and make sure no one gets left trying to do this alone.

Let’s be the equal and opposite force this moment calls for.

Let’s rise—together.
